I have an interview on 20th May for Quebec immigration.I already had an interview in Nov 2003 but they told me to study french and come back which i already did and send them the letter also but they are calling me for an interview after year and half. Can anyone tell me what they will ask me in the interview and if they will give me immigration and how is it going to be.I am really scared since they already told me once to learn french and come back.

they will make sure that u did some improvement on ur french skills and then they will verify the information u provided in ur file and then they will hopefully issue the certificate de selection de quebec right away or they will mail it to you(in case u did fine :) . and make sure that u know that the prime minister of quebec is jean charest(i am not sure about the spelling) and those stuffs(like the capital and some cities in quebec.
dont panic especailly if u can communicate in french.i did it at the first time despite i dont speack french very well.its all depend on ur personality.... anyway good luck

it depends on the time u spent in quecec,if u spent for example more than two years then u have to speack french and nothing but french and in an advanced way,and the most important thing is to show them an intrest learning and speacking french, french is everything for the quebecois officer during the interview but if u spent lets say 3 or 4 months then basic french might help, and they might ask u about the quebec exporting and importing.and the population of quebec province and quebec city and montreal.some places in the city u live, they might ask u about some festivals..dont panic if u do speack french u will do fine...and usually they r more nice with second interview..

I answered when i asked that quastion, that my dream was to live in a francophone city and learn french and quebec province has many advantages for example the beauty of nature, the freedom, the libral government, multiculture and those stuffs

come on... tell them the truth... you applied to Quebec because you thought it would be faster. Just teasing. but really, how stupid do you think those guys are!!!

or tell them you want to join the Parti Quebecois so you can help the separtist movement! that will make them happy.

I hope you know I am giving you a bad time.

he he he heeee

ok sharon, let me tell u this,in the interview the officer never stopt smilling becuase she knew that i am kissing up,but to be hounest i really like quebec and i really wanna learn french..but the thing is why to aplay for the federal right away and spend more than two years suffering and wasting my time waiting for any responce and i can do it in 9 months...just tell me for god sake..we should appreciate quebec government for being helpful and more kind than the federal..and to be hounest the best city to live in canada is montreal but the big disadvantage is the freezing weather..but who realy cares if there is season called summer that makes u forget all the winter pains...and the winter is not that much tough, its just boring...quebecois people are very kind easy going smart educated and nice...but in the interview any one should do the best just to passsssssssss..and i am thankful that i passed and now living in peace in montreal and i am thinking to move to another province and it might be BC just for discovering and changing and for my master degree.and i might come back to montreal when i am done..i have been in toronto and niagara..those cities are not better than montreal its just toronto downtown is amazing espesially the high towers and that´s it....so for me i am hounest and i never lied in my entire life..and i will be faithful and loyal to quebec the province that give me the trust to live in.... and tell me sharon what happend to ur husbend... still stuck in france?

to ed... at least you are honest! come to BC- you will discover paradise.

my husband is actually my fiance stuck in north africa. (embassy in Paris) good try :) we are still waiting and waiting. He said to me today that he has friends who applied before him that are still waiting for that PP request. He was trying to be optimistic. It is not a good time in history to be arab.
