Subject: Attn: Arman - A very simple interview
You´d asked about my interview experience. Well here it is!
I was nervous like many of us can imagine before the interview. I reached the CHC one hour before the interview. I informed the girl at the reception about my arrival. She asked for all my documents and sent them in (to God knows where). The interview time was 1000 hrs. They called me in at 1130 hrs! No problem.
Their was this young boy (around 26 to 30 years of age) who escorted me to the interview room and that´s where I discovered that he´s the one who´ll now decide about my future life. Trust me friends. After the university, I´ve worked full time in MNCs for more than eight years, but have never seen such a professional person.
He first calculated my points and told me that I qualify under the new rule.
He then asked for my proof of funds, which he calculated and then told me to take as much money to Canada, as possible as it´d be me who´d need it there.
He then asked me about my police certificates and other papers.
He also tested my technical experties if I was a soil scientist or not. He did not ask anything from the list of questions that I´d prepared (from Jessie Gill´s site :) ).
Since I´d gone through a divorce case, he only said he´ll get the certificate verified.
At the end of the interview he asked me to deposite the ROL fee and he also informed me that I´ll shortly be receiving the medical instructions. He then escorted me back to the exit. That´s all.

Any queries will be welcome.

Good luck

Originally submitted my application in March 2001.

Then someone did something to some country and they left Islamabad for some time.

In 2003 I started receiving communique from them.

In June 2004 they asked for my original documents.

In July 2004, they returned them saying that I needed to be interviewed.

In Feb 2005, they invited me for an interview.

On March 15, 2005, they interviewed me.

Since then, I´m pondering about the evolution of man and the difference between a man and a hen (just to pass time and to help myself wait for the decision in a better manner :) ).

Sorry about the points thing.

Frankly speaking, he was murmuring something...trying to figure out the score on his PC and then he suddenly turned towards me and said " great, you qualify". When he said this, I wouldn´t care HOW, as long as I qualified.

But to help you (You can figure out my score):
Age: 31 years (male - no score for being male)
edu: 16 years´ formal education (in agriculture)
Work: More than 5 years in my profession.
Lang: Overall band 7.0 in IELTS.
Spouse: 4 marks for her B.A. degree.
Funds were good.

Thats all...what else do u want to know.

Hi Khan,

Very nice euphemism in your first post :-) :
"Then someone did something to some country and they left Islamabad for some time."
