Subject: E-client says DECISION MADE
I´m sponsoring my wife to Canada from China now. My sponsorship was approved on Oct. 8 and then the application was transfered to Local office, Hongkong for my wife´s permanent application. During the waiting, my wife has been asked to send more information to complete the case. Just two weeks ago, I log on http://www.cic.gc.ca/ and found this:
Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on the application. The office will contact the applicant concerning this decision.

I´m wondering when my wife can receive a real letter concerning this decision, since cic does not tell the details on the internet, and also if I will receive a letter about it in Canada.

Can anyone give me some ideas about these issues? Thanks in advance!!!

She was not asked to send the passport. Generally, you have to bring your passport with the letter to the Canadian Consulate General to pick up the visa in Hongkong. I did it this way two year ago.

Hi,

I hope i am the right person to answer this question.

I just got my immigration visa yesterday.

The middle of last week, I checked the E-status, and it said "Decision made, our office will contact you", my first thought was that something went wrong, i couldn´t do anything but waiting and paying attention to their call(wrote down their number, was afraid to miss their call)

So, don´t worry, as long as you have provided all necessary documents, the Visa for your wife should be on the way to her hand.

Just relax, and be prepared to celebrate.!!

if there is nothing wrong with ur application, a decision made would imply that ur wife has got her visa....

My wife went to check mail yesterday and found that the mail box was broken and all letters missing.

What if the letter concerning her application was one of the missing letters? Can anyone tell me how to deal with this kind of unfortunate situation?

I have sent a inquiry form to the visa office. Got no idea if they will reply...[?]

You will both get letters....... if it is missing from the mailbox, then you will still get one...... be patient....don´t bother CIC unless it is an emergency...it will not help your case at all.....I doubt it was inthe mailbox....give it some time
