Obtaining Police Certificates/Clearances from USA
You must provide:
? A copy of our letter requesting that you obtain a Police Record Check (PC-1 letter enclosed). Affix your own name and address label.
? A full set of fingerprints. Fingerprints should be provided on the FBI fingerprint card,
but fingerprints may be obtained from a local police department as long as you have proof
of your identity, or from a private organization engaged in the fingerprinting business. Do
not contact any FBI office for fingerprinting. You may request a blank fingerprint form by
writing to the FBI at this address:

Attention: SCU Mod D-2
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virgina 26306 USA
? Certified cheque or money order for US $18 made payable to the U.S. Treasury.
? Always specify that you require fingerprints for Canadian Immigration purposes.
Processing times may take between three and six weeks. The FBI will send you the results. You should send
the fingerprints with any attached documents from the FBI to the Regional Program Centre. All police
certificates must be originals. Photocopies will not be accepted.

I recently mailed off my request for a record check, along with my fingerprints, and the $18. I am checking to see if my letter arrived? Also, I was wondering if I could get some kind of form saying that you have recieved my request, and you are in the process of looking into my record. I am trying to apply for an apartment, and I explained to them about my situation. I told them it would be a few weeks before I would hear back about my record, and they are willing to work with me if I can get some letter saying that a request for my record was recieved, and that it would be looked into. If you could mail or either e-mail me some kind of form, it would be greatly appreciated.

I, Sujata Upadhyaya recently mailed off my request for a record check, along with my fingerprints, and the $18. I am checking to see if my letter arrived? Also, I was wondering if I could get some kind of form saying that you have recieved my request, and you are in the process of looking into my record. I recently moved to Canada since I got married and I am in process of applying for the Immigration to Canada. I have all the paper work ready and I am just waiting for my police certificates and clearences record. I am just wondering that how soon can I expect the documents to be arrived since it has been more than six weeks. Your response/help will be greatly appreciated.

It´s been more than 2 1/2 months since i sent the fingerprints to FBI for my canadian immigration. What is the Normal Processing time? Can i sent the fingerprints again to the FBI?

Dear Sir:
i have received e-mail from NEW CANADA HOTEL informing interested applicants as hotel personnel. They have listed vacant positions as hospitality staff. The Director is Mr. Ronald Cole and another came out by the name of Karen Smith. i was just wondering if they reliable in hiring because they are asking for $30 for the processing of documents after which they are asking for another $115 for sending of the documents plus the visa. i don´t know if this is a scam. They also promised upon sending the money, they will pay in advance the visa and the ticket to cANADA.
The salary would be around $3000/month as secretary and the that have reserved hotel for the amount of $2000 and will be deducted from the salary. HOW TRUE IS THIS? CAN YOU INVESTIGATE? THEY MIGHT HAVE DECEIVED SOME PEOPLE ALREADY. THANKS PLS REPLY

I did send my finger prints to FBI on May 11. Still no answer, but I have 90 days time to send the results back to Consulate. What should I do? Your help will be appreciated.

It is more than 3month and I am still waiting for your answer.
Could you please verify where I am at in this application as I need to coordinate other papers from Latvia for New Zealand immigration.
I am married and live in New Zealand but immigration require a Police certificate from the USA before I can apply for residence.
Please imform how long can this process take in the USA as I seem to be in a loop when it comes to coordicating other papers that must comply to a time frame.

Was wondering if you have recieved my request and wondering how long it will be til it´s sent back to me. I am having to keep leaving the country to get back in again which is costing more than we have, i can´t keep doing this. Anyway i can know how much longer?
