Subject: sponsoring spouse
  Hi,

I am going to sponsor my hubby from outside the canada.
I did work for 4-5 month in year 2004 and then started to collect EI after that in year 2004 and my EI benifit end on Nov 2004 and then i work for month again on Dec 2004.Then i went back home and get married and come back in Mar 2005 and i m not working right now and not collecting any social assistance or EI Benifit nothing.

Can i sponsor my hubby?

Another question is EI benifit count as Social assistance or not?
