Subject: Overstay/ Deportation- Howw?
  Hi friends,

Previously I had read about someone getting deportation order...just wondering how can the authoirities come to know if a person stays beyond ones authorized date. According to my good understanding no one can ever find out if someone stays beyond the authorized date. Am I missing something here? Does the Govt. put any effort to find out about each visitor? Is it not possible for people to overstay and leave quitely at some later date? How do people get the deportation order...I mean to know how were these individuals idetified to be in violation of their permits.

Thanx for any info/ comments.

The only way Immigration would know is if someone reports you or you commit a crime in Canada and are arrested.
I can´t see how they would find out any other way...

Well the crime is committed only if caught and sufficient evidences are there...

So generally speaking yes the Immigration officers dont have that kind of time or resources to go and hunt down any over-staying person... but when you are to leave the country you have to go thru them and at that time they will find you and put appropriate notes on your file... Trust me these people are very well organized in this matter.

If somehow you manage to sneak into the US quietly without being noticed... In the canadian sstem you still show up as in-canada and havent left legally... So you are technically still in Canada for them. and it can create a big problem later on.

Better not to overstay if you can avoid it... and if the circumstances are unavoidable then make sure you apply for exentions to the appropriate agencies... they take a hell lot of a time and this will buy some time to work out and may be leave the country legally...

Cheers,
HS

Ohh yeah... forgot to mentioned about the deportation order...

You have to make aware the officer incharge that you are illegal in the country and then kidly ask the officer to file a case against you and prove that you are violating some rule and you deserved to be deported from the country...

This will compell them to issue a deporting order for you or your loved ones...

don´t be fooled into thinking deportation never happens and that the Canadian government has no way of tracking you. Neighbours report you, if you are working- employers send in taxes with your name on it. if you get a motor vehicle ticket, or you have to go to the doctor or hospital - lots of ways to track that I do not even know. Whatever the case - it is not worth it. You ruin your future opportunities.

once you are over stay, you can not get medicare coverage, it´s kinda risky. make sure file extention in 30days of permit expired, or you can do restoration after expired

Hi Guyz!

The problem of Deportation arises, when a person, who is of temporary status tries to extend his permit ( study/work/visitor). If they do not agree with your reasons for extension, or they find your intentions arnt good, they have every right to give you deportation order.

However, they cant force you to leave the country, coz its hard for them to keep track on you. In that case, you can hire a lawyer and keep fighting the case, showing them valid reasons to stay in the country.

I know a person say Mr.Y , who had been given 2 deportation orders , but he was determined not to leave canada, with help of lawyer he could get extension for his study permit and later on he completed his studies and could successfully get 3 yrs HRDC approved work permit, later on Y applied for immigration in quebec, and his file was transferred to Syria ( The reason being he cannot apply for quebec immigration in US), and the embassy which deals for the Indian applicants for quebec immigration is in Syria, and Mr.Y was scared to go to Syria for interview, so requested the CIC to transfer his application to New Delhi, which would take considerable time, however Mr.Y is not in a hurry for immigration,´coz he has got a job in his field( Chef) and he can stay legally in this country for 3 yrs more.

So dont worry guyz if you get deportation Order!!Things can be worked out still!!

There are tonnes of ways to work on the the deportation order... remember that Singh guy... because of which Judy Sgro had to resign...

He was illegal and kept working on how deportation order...

Not only that... the immigration system in this country has so many loop holes that you can use one or the other to stay here...

Infact if you do not come in any limelite then you can pretty much stay here for as much as you can.

And yeah... if you know that you are illegal... then you want to avoid legal work, coming in contact with the police officers, and any such agents where the govt is involved.

About the Taxes thing... the govt doesnt care because its getting taxes AND on top of that... the CRC and CIC are two totally different and independent organizations...

A lot of temporary workers, students have SIN´s strting number as 9XX XXX XXX so if you have one. then you can still file taxes... By the time the govt becomes aware and does something to you file it will already be a few years...

Anyways... dont take this advice seriously... think about what can go wrong... and act accordingly... dont come to blame me afterwards...

I am a Canadian trying to read your postings without becoming angry. Your plans and schemes are so disrespectful and harmful to those who come to Canada wishing to obey the law and follow the CIC process. Your celebration of illegal activity proves that CIC is still not tough enough when it comes to visitor and student visas.

Your postings mock my country and all that it stands for.

just walk away please, a honest guy invited you to the dinner party, and you grab some valuable stuff during the party hoster didn´t know.

You came back home and celebrate and share the tips to everybody.

don´t encourage people to do that, if you have experience doing this, just let it be.
