hello all:
I have earlier read some posts about Canadian PRs working in the USA. I noticed the TN-NAFTA visa!!
I am a Canadian PR, recent one. I would like to know about employability in the USA, i.e., (i) Do I need a work authorization?? (ii) Do I need a H1B to work in the USA?? (iii) What are the possibilities that I can work in the USA?
Could someone elighten me on this please? Thanks for your time.
OK, I should add that I might work in the USA for 1-2 years only (due to personal reasons), before I settle in Canada.

1)Yes you need work authorization for working in US
2)H1B is one of the ways to work in US..H1 sponsorship is kind of difficult now a days...seek advice from a lawyer
3)Try this site for TN Visa info.

You are not eligible for TN Visa, since is it only
available to canadian citizens only, H1B is the only
option available to you.

Another case for using Canada a gateway to work in the USA...
Sure why not... I´d like ot do that too...
Anyways... as a PR you cannot be eligible for TN visa´s. Wait till you become a Canadian Citizen and then go for it.
You have waited such a long time... just a little bit more...
If you want to go to the US and work right now... it will be a H-1B option... Thats good too but then you will loose the days that count towards becoming a Canadian Citizen...
