Hi Roy,
i submitted my H&C in 2007 and prra in 2009.three months ago i was asked to do medicals,i recently just received a letter asking me to go for an interview at airport rd that a decision has been made.the cbsa renewed my passport when i applied for prra..in 2009 please can you advise me what this means. i am not on welfare i work full time.

You will receive a letter indicating that whether your H&C application has been approved in principal, the first stage.

If they´ve asked you to do your medical,that´s a sign that your first stage has been approved.

Just wanted to let you know my e-cas does not say decision made or medical received.it still says the application is in process my file was transfered to the local office and i may be contacted by the local cic office.

My husbands refugee claim was denied but my cec file for residency is under process and he is under my case as well our medical and landing fees came march 2014. Cbsa has called him for an interview to update his immigration file. Can please let us know what it would be regarding. His work permit is valid till feb 2015 we reappeal at fedral court no reply has come yet.we were planning to apply work permit under my file because our both work permit ends feb 2015
