Subject: Leaving Canada After applying for PR
  Hi,

My name is Abel I´m Mexican and I live and work in Canada using a Temporary Work Permit (I´ve been in Canada for 1 year and a half). I applied for the Permanent Residency 3 weeks ago (I haven´t even got the reception confirmation of my application from CIC). 1 week ago I got an email from a USA company in Houston if I wanted to go to work with them if I passed the interviews, so I did the interviewing process and I think that so far everything is going well, so my questions are:

1.- Can I continue my PR application process for Canada by being in the US?

2.- Will my PR application be lost?

3.- If it is going to be lost or canceled, which visa minimum do you recommend that the US company provides me in order to get the PR in USA?

Thank you in advance for your response.

1- It all depends on which PR class you applied.

2- Loss? No, again...refer to answer #1

3- The US company doesn´t provide you with a visa, the visa is issued by the US Embassy in Canada. The work visa that eventually may allow you to apply for PR in the US is the H1B.
