Subject: legal problem
  I need an advice about applying as skilled worker in Canada, I will be the first applicant but before 3 years my husband got a fine from our state autorities for not declaration of all the goods in the custom (he has a clothing store). he was found gilty by the court and he paid the penalty. up to now everything has gone well on his business,
Will this incident reduces our possibility to be accepted by cic?
Many thanks,

@Eli

No one can answer this question the way you post it.

The (conviction) has to be equated into Canadian Law. They need to know the section of your countries Criminal Code, potential penalty, etc.

It is irrelevant if he actually paid the fine.

Don´t waste your time, contact someone that knows what they are doing to equate the conviction. Yes CONVICTION.

There is no use submitting a FSW application at this time, wait and see if a new list comes out May 01st 2014
