I did my masters and bachelors degree in English. Is that enough to submit my educational transcripts for citizenship. Thanks for your advice.

I did my diploma and bachelors in English. I have submitted my citizenship application with transcripts a month back. I didn´t hear anything back so far.

Almost every visa stream requires proof of language in order to start the PR process.

The 2 choices are IELTS and CELPIP. The exams are very different.

CELPIP is strictly Canadian, includes Canadian perspectives and cultural colloquial expressions, computer based, and grammar based. IELTS is less cultural and is more internationally focused, paper based and vocabulary based.

There are several resources for the IELTS exam available both online and in print and classes available in almost every school. CELPIP study resources can be purchased directly from the exam developers or through Amazon (various sites). GEOS Language Plus in Calgary also offers CELPIP classes.

Hope this helps.
