My CEC application has been accepted for processing. How can I get a work permit right now?

If you currently hold a valid work permit now that will be expiring in 4 months or less AND you have received confirmation from CIC that you are eligible to apply under CEC, then you can apply for a bridging open work permit.
Otherwise the process is the same for you as for anyone else. You must find an employer who is willing to give you a job offer, that employer must obtain an approved LMO and then you must apply for a closed work permit.

I have a valid Visitor permit...will CIC give a WP or renew my visitor permit or I have to go back to my home country...

You can´t get a WP based on the visitor permit.
If your visitor permit is close to expiring, you will have to apply to renew it. No one can tell you if it will be renewed.

VISITOR STATUS TO WORK PERMIT
If you were here studying for two years than had a post graduate work permit and close to expiration you switched your status to a Visitor you can apply for a work permit because you are residing here and were admitted for a year on your initial entry. Still have to follow the rules.
Just because they have received your application does not mean your accepted. Now if you have been accepted and your close to landing why apply now for a TWP because once landed you do not need a permit to work.
