| Subject: Can I get the Visa after applying for CEC |
I have applied for In Land CEC in July this year. Not received any communication from CIC until today. I need to go back to my country. Now my questions to all the experts here that can I get a visa to come back to Canada (i.e. my visa expired and currently on visitor permit)?

Dual Intent is not a problem, so YES. The key will be the timing. How long you wish to stay in your home country. When your CEC application was submitted and if it is complete, etc.
