Hi
I am planning to apply for FSW under new rules released after May 04, 2013. I have taken IELTS (Academic) 24-September, 2011. My IELTS is going expire within 2 months and so i wanted to apply for Permanent Resident through FSW before
I have got the following scores in IELTS academic:
Listening: 7.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 6.5
With the above scores i am getting overall CLB level of 20 points. So please can you advise me whether canada will accept for IELTS academic scores for the new FSW immigration.
BTW how the work permit is calculated by canada. is it Month to Month or have to stay and work in that country.
Please answer this As quicly as pssoible.

Whether Canada accepts IELTS (Academic score) for the FSW immigration? I saw in CIC website that we should take IELTS general training test. Please advice me on that.

No - it´s not. You must take the General test. Academic is not accepted for immigration purposes. If you submit the results of an Academic test along with your immigration application, your application will be automatically refused.

It depend upon Visa officer, in my case I submit Academic and got Medcial and PCC.
