Subject: deported from canada
  Hi Roy and everyone,
I was deported from canada(deportation order) after rejected refugee claim. My employer is trying the LMO process so I could come back to canada as a skilled worker. I heard that I need an ARC . Do you know how long it would take me to get the arc. My concern is that if it takes too long (relatively) my employer would not wait for me .

To Roy, can consult with you for ARC application after I get the LMO approved.

Thank you,

Your chances of being approved for a work permit are pretty much zero. To be approved, you must demonstrate strong ties to your home country and prove that you will not overstay the duration of your visa. The fact that you have a failed refugee claim and a deportation demonstrates the opposite.

I think you are wasting your time trying to come back on a work permit. If you want to return to Canada, you should be apply to immigrate and become a PR (assuming you qualify).

Coming back to Canada on a TWP is unusual but possible. See Law Society of Upper Canada Immigration Specialist story on the subject.

These people were tricked into making a refugee claim based on unemployment in a European Union country more than six years ago before the Banking crisis hit.

I filed a complaint against their former representative and the Visa Post seemed pretty happy.

Jay,

Your chances of obtaining a work permit are slim to none. You ONLY option is to apply for immigration to Canada. You still have to add the ARC to the application. The entire process including the process of the ARC would be anywhere from 2 to 5 years.

The De Sousa story as good as it sounds, it is 6 years old. A bit outdated. I wouldn´t hold my breath on that one, you may turn purple.

Careful Jay about Roy statement. If he is so confident, how about paying him when you get your approval... There is a lawyer firm Abraham and Krochak (I think) they they only received payment when it is successful. If the application is unsuccessful, they return your money... google it

The Lawyer never will return the money to the client if the case unsuccessful, (only if mafia involve) because they did spent so much time to prepare the file(it´s already in the computer, just need to enter client name and to sign sheet of parer )
lawyers never going to tell you how many cases they did lose.
they always will tell you, that you have a good chances ,here is my card!

An Arc once looked at can take as little as a day but normally two months to approve.

They contact the office responsible for removing the person to consider any and all NCB´s non computer based entries or notes to file about the persons behavior.

The difference between me and certain Lawyers is that I can prove I have done it. I also charge a lot less for my services and do not turn over the work to some recently graduated high school student employee.

CBSA booked a whole plane to remove more than 200 Portuguese who were told to make a claim for Refugee Protection BASED ON UNEMPLOYMENT IN PORTUGAL, AN EU COUNTRY.
