Most likely you will remain a janitor for years and perhaps go back home, once you realize there ain´t no sugar on this side of the ocean.

Dentistry is a provincially regulated profession.
You should contact the the body that regulates dentistry in the province where you intent to live and get the information from them on what it takes to obtain a license to practice dentistry in that particular province.
In most cases you can start the process prior you immigrate to Canada.
