Subject: Hiring my brother as a Live-In Caregiver
  To whom it may concern,

My brother passsed the Caregiver Certification program in the Philippines. However, he´s in the US right now with no proper documents.

Can I hire him as my live-in caregiver for my newborn child? Would Canada check for his Status in the US?

Thank you.

How long was the course to complete the certification? How long ago did he complete the course? To qualify, he must have attended at least six months of full time classes in the last three years.

His status in the US could very well be an issue. To be approved for a work visa, you must prove you have strong ties to your home country. Don´t see how he´ll prove this if he has no status in the US.
