Hi,
I recently moved here from Australia I am based in Edmonton Alberta. I have landed a really good job and wanted to know what my options are. I came here on a 24 month working holiday from Australia and do not have any plans to go back. What should I do and which application should I apply for to stay here permanently? I know to get a PR there is multiple ways? Is the nominee program a good option?

Hi Ace,
You can either apply under the nominee program or alternatively extend your woking holiday visa for another two years. If you apply under the nominee program, make sure your job fits in either Skill Set 0, A or B as listed in the NOC List 2011. There is a new one coming out this year but not sure when. Also if you apply under the nominee program, there are restrictions on where you can work, for who you can work etc once you get approved under that program. I hope this little information helps you!
