GCMS request (in reply to: GCMS / CAIPS REQUEST)
Are GCMS notes for both outland and inland applications? My husband´s inland PR application was transferred to a local office without reason and we ordered the FOSS notes to find out why. There was absolutely nothing in this document about why the file was transferred. It only stated Ready for Service Commitment and the date the file was physically transferred from Vegreville to the local office. That was October 16 although we received an email stating the file had been transferred October 1. We sent two sets of supporting documents to the local office Oct 10 and Nov 5 which included emails from the start of the relationship up until very recent, everything joint, letters from colleagues and friends, a four page summary of our relationship and a description of what we have been doing since my husband arrived here in January and dozens of family pictures but we still haven´t heard anything. When I spoke to an agent on the phone they told me the VO doesn´t have to provide a reason for a file transfer? How does one obtain information for an inland transfer other than FOSS?

Yes ROY , you are right about filling the form,
but kindly clarify and do make it clear to the members that even if they fill the pdf application. They still need a Canadian Citizen, PR or a person in Canada OR An ICCRC member to file for their GCMS request( if they have send their application from abroad)

This is where we provide the services as an ICCRC member and provide assistance.
