Yes, he has a very high possibility of not being allowed to re-enter Canada.

There are no exit visa requirements or seeing CBSA or Immigration when leaving Canada unlike some former Soviet Union countries or Iran.

You go to the airport and show your ticket and passport to receive your boarding pass.

What CBSA does not know they can´t deal with. Many have overstayed for years and others for a decade or more.

Now if your Israeli passport was issued in Canada long after your legal entry stamp in the passport expect plenty of questions you will not be able to properly answer.

Roy -

Sorry - I disagree. Yes - there are no exist checks - but CBSA clearly has access to at least some flight manifests. You can´t assume they don´t know.

Both my husband and two friends (all American citizens) have been in situations where CBSA knew about all of the flights they had recently taken (even though they didn´t have stamps in their passports for most of these flight). Immigration rhymed these off from their computers. This happened to my husband about four years ago. One friend had her incident about two years ago (she was almost refused entry for spending too much time in Canada but was allowed in after 2 hours of questioning after she was able to provide proof that she was working on submitting a spousal sponsorship application). Happened to my second friend about six months ago.

There is a HUGE difference between information that is shared with the American´s because of 9/11 then persons from Israel like in this post or persons from other countries.

We have a large Portuguese and Caribbean client base and they are well known for overstaying yet if they overstayed they never have a problem returning because some of them do not require a CVV and their country never stamps them in when they return.

Your so called friend .-) will be asked.

"What is the purpose of your visit to Canada today"?

At that point in time he should say his purpose for visiting Canada on that particular day.

Joni all I would say is: do not do it. They will catch you and take you aside, beat you up thoroughly and ship you back. Lying people not needed. Israel is a good place, just stay there.
