Hello,
I received my immigration visa one month ago and the deadline to enter Canada is mid-march 2013.
I understand I have to enter the country and have to stay at least two years of five to keep my permanent resident status.
The problem is that I will have not enough time to deal with every issue regarding immigration.
I would like to enter Canada in march to secure my status and receive the proper documents and then return to Brazil and take care of everything like selling my car, renting my house, etc.
How long does it take to receive the permanent resident card? Is this document an identity card or a visa stamped in my passport?

The PR Card is an identity card. Current processing time is 63 days:

Hi Antonio,
Its true that processing time takes two months before you can get your PRC Card. If you are planning to return to Brazil and can´t wait for your PRC to come, you can ask a family member or trusted person living in the address you have given to send the PRC Card through courier. You will be needing your PRC to return back to Canada after settling everything in Brazil.
