Hello, My grandmother has been in Canada since April from Colombia, she got the 6 month pass for her stay in Canada and she applied for an extension at around the 4th month which was in August. It is now November and she still does not have a reply, I called in about a month and a half ago (was nearly impossible to talk to someone from immigration) and they told me they were behind in their applications. Is anyone having the same problem? she is worried that the application got lost or something and that her record will be spoiled. Does it usually take this long? thanks guys!
