Subject: visa rejected and its my last semester! |

I just received a package from CIC that my application has been refused, reason that the officer is not satisfied i would leave Canada at the end of my stay.
Here is my situation.
Im a 4th yr students and only have 1 last semester to finish my undergraduate. Due to the fact that it is my last year of university and that I wanted to focus on my studies, I did not intend on leaving Canada until I finish my undergrad; hence, I was unaware of the fact that both my passport and my student permit had expired.
It did not occur to me until I was told that I was coming back to Taiwan after my Summer Semester, which ends in the middle of August. I was informed a month before the end of my semester. Upon booking my flight, I realized that my passport had expired. I also realized that my student permit had expired for over 90 days. So i have to get back to my country and re-apply. But now i just informed they rejected my application.
And there is other reasons states that: "You continued to study in Canada beyond the validity of your study permit; according to R221(a), a study permit shall not be issued to you unless a period of six months has elapsed since the cessation of your unauthorized study."
Im a bit confused of this, does it mean I have to wait 6 months to re apply my study visa? and the period of six months starts counts at the time i received this package? or the expired date on my visa?
plz help guys.. i really want to go back and finish my last semester, i don know what to do anymore...

(in reply to: visa rejected and its my last semester!) You have to wait six months from the time you stopped studying illegally in Canada before you apply again.
