Hi everyone,
I submitted an H&C application in April. When I check my application status online it does not appear, but when I call the CIC call centre they say the received my application in April. Does anybody know why it doesn´t show up online? I am the principal applicant and it doesn´t work with my client ID number or with the ID numbers of my daughters.
Also, I have heard many different stories of how long CIC has taken to make a decission on peoples H&C applications. I know the website says there´s a minimum of 30 months, but I´ve met people that have gotten replies in 8 months! A lady I met said that they had given her the reasons of why her application was approved and one of them was because she had a gifted child. Is it also true that children´s education is considered a strong reason to stay in Canada, considering education in their home country is really poor?

Never base what others say on your case.
An H&C application was approved in one year because it was an act of somebody.
A prodigy excuse is a good one.

hey fernanda,
i applied h&C in march and I didnt see my status online till october !! they started processing my h&C case after 7 months they received my file..
be patient and as Roy says, cross your fingers :)
