Subject: Confused Re parental sponsorship and Super visa
  Hello,

I have been granted PR in May 2012. I immigrated independently, and would like to sponsor my mother. I understand that I must earn a certain amount and be established here before attempting to sponsor. Also parental sponsorships are not being accepted until Nov 2013. Now this is my question. I have been advised to apply for multiple supervisas, in order for my mother to be allowed to stay in Canada whilst the sponsorship takes place. According to the CIC website, this is only a visitor´s visa, as I have to apply for health insurance separately, as well as a work permit for my mother (which is not guaranteed to be approved). Can anyone please clarify if this is a good route to follow? Can my mother stay here with me under a supervisa, will she be allowed to lead a normal life and work whilst the sponsorship application is processing?

Any advice will be greatly apprciated. Thank you

No. She can not legally work in Canada while under visitor visa.
