Subject: H & C application / update
  Hi everyone,
I am a refused refugee claimant in calgary.. I have sent my H&C application on march second 2012.. I am seriously thinking to update my file but I need some attractive ideas to make my case stronger..

I have couple questions..I will be appreciated If you have time to answer them..
-will buying a condo/property around 200K with mortgage make my case stronger ?

-I have received around 8 months welfare income support at first when I came to Canada 3 years ago.. I know it`s extremely no good to receive income support for my case..how can I avoid from this weakness ? ( any chance to pay it back ? )

- I am enrolled in a college.. I am taking accounting classes right now.. will this reason make my case stronger also ? I need 2 years to graduate..but probably my case will be decided before I graduate..what should I do ? should I send my transcripts each term to update my H&C file ?

-I haven`t made good money to pay tax last 2 years but this year I need to pay around 5K tax.. I made a settlement payments for my tax..500$ every months for the next 10 months to finish my tax..is this a bad deal for my case ?

- I am thinking to add more references letters from my friends and relatives.. do you think putting and additional picture for the each letter will look gross ? or better ? ( for example I take a reference letter from you and I attach a picture of ours on the letter )

- I am monthly donor to Amnesty Canada with a small money..10$ evey month.. do you think I should increase my donations to make my case stronger?..and What kind of charities I should donate ?

- I am thinking to get an IELTS score to show my English qualification, will that be also good thing to make my case stronger ?

- I am running a small business right now.. I am a sub-contractor and I am doing flooring.. I just sent my business registration paper and GST papers to my H&C application.. what kind of papers should I send for my update ?
- getting a CPR(first aid) certificate will make my case stronger as well ?

I don`t know what else I can do to make my case stronger..I am really stressful and nervous..I will be so much happy if you help me with your answers..thank you all.. I am looking forward to seeing your answer..

First

Read your own posting yourself again slowly. Don´t ramble on and on.

Focus on the positive and forget the negative that is the past.

So we all assume you have a study permit and a work permit, correct? Hmmmm

Focus on common sense and understand that Photos are better than a thousand words. Establishment takes time and you seem to be doing okay with your flooring business so talk about it. Join an environmental group and go for walks in the nature with a group and take photos.

GOOD LUCK (in reply to: H & C application / update)
In the H&C AIP( Approved in Principle) letter,

You are not self-supporting. Persons in receipt of social assistance or welfare benefits, either directly or indirectly, are defined in the Immigration and refugee Protection Act as inadmissible persons.

Thank you Roy, I understand what you mean..

when I registered to my college, they didn`t ask me for a study permit so I don`t have one..!

thank you for your reply Anonymous..

But then I started being self-supporting, I don`t take any income support..I pay tax..they should consider this no ? when I came to Canada I didn`t have work-permit and even When I got it, It was hard to get a job at first.. So I took social income for a 8 months.. hmmmm
