Dear Rose
If you are thinking about applying to immigrate to Canada, you do not need to retain a consultant. However you do need to do all the research yourself to the level that is required to accurately assess your current situation and apply under the right category. Competent lawyers and experienced licensed consultants have that knowledge. That is why people go to them.

If you are thinking of applying under the Federal Skilled Worker category, your occupation (IT manager)is excluded from the Priority Occupation List (POL), and your application will be refused. By your question:"which province can you apply to..." if you mean a PNP application, you first need to get an employer to offer you a job in that province.

If you do not want your spouse to accompany you,I am assuming that you are separated but not divorced yet. More info on the situation would be needed.

You have NINE years of IT experience which means what?

Then you post here coming from an English speaking country because you can´t research the best way to Immigrate let alone find a suitable program to Immigrate with all your IT experience?

Go to cic.gc.ca and look to the left panel and click on Immigrate.

Look for Provincial Nominees and click on that.

Scroll to the bottom and click on "Who Can Apply"

Select a province that you might prefer to reside in and click on that province.

I also suggest that you search employment sites to locate which province is seeking those in your actual profession.

NOW I WAS NOT BORN YESTERDAY LIKE SOME OTHERS NEEDING YOUR BUSINESS AND THERE IS NO WAY THIS POSTING IS LEGITIMATE.

9 Years of IT experience LOL

How come no space after every sentence. Did your teachers not tell you that your computer has a space bar?

Hi Roy,
Thanks for your spell check and grammar correction. This was the least thing I was looking out here.Just for your information, I have travelled all over the world and wanted to settle in Canada so I thought of this website.I doubt if you have a passport also.I thut people get proper guidance on this site instead of paying it to lawyers and get it done.I do know abt cic.gc.ca and PNP but wanted to know if I was elligible and agents who are doing it ,Are they worth to be paid.I had checked that IT propession is not in the list ,then how is the migration process done for them.

The only part I liked abt your reply was
Select a province that you might prefer to reside in and click on that province.

"I also suggest that you search employment sites to locate which province is seeking those in your actual profession."
which being an IT professional I have done it long back.
Thanks again.
