What is the process of H & C? My timeline is as follows and I don´t know who should I ask for next step!
Applied in 2005 London, Ontario,
File transferred from Vegreville, AB to Local office in London, Ontario in 2005
First stage approved from backlog office in February 2011, Vancouver, BC
I called CIC two days ago and the lady said that there is no update since it was approved in February, 2011. File is still in Backlog office in Vancouver, BC.
Are they (backlog office) going to send my file here in London (CIC London, Ontario) for further process or the backlog office will do the remaining part of process! How can I expedite the process, my kids will finish high school this year and I want to have PR process done before they go to college, so I don´t have to pay their tuition fee as international student.
will appreciate your help/assistance.

two weeks ago, CIC London, Ontario emailed backlog office for update but they never respond to CIC London, Ontario office´s email.

Why did it take almost 6 years to be approved in principle?

That´s why it took 6 years to be approved in principle and it will take 12 to 36 months for the PR application to be finalized. Good luck and all the best.

If they don´t believe then why they approved it ?
I lost my refugee case because of my lawyer who got arrested along other lawyers by RCMP (Montreal Toronto). IRB rejected all the claims submitted by them.
