Subject: Multiple Entry Visit Visa for Parents |

My parents have been approved for a 3 year multiple entry visit visa. Can they have a round trip ticket already issued for 1 year? I mean, if they go here by March 2012, can they have a returning ticket back home March 2013? Is this allowed by the canadian immigration?
Your responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

(in reply to: Multiple Entry Visit Visa for Parents) If it is a multiple-entry visa not a super visa the answer is no.
The multiple-entry visa has the same restrictions as a single entry except that it doesn´t get cancelled upon entry and can be re-used but the visitor can only stay a maximum time of 6 months in Canada.
If a parent wants to stay longer than that, then he/she apply (outside of Canada) for the super visa which will allow them to stay up to two years.
