What you do is to pack your things and go home.

At the moment that your job description changed due to termination etc, you were supposed to inform CIC about it and you didn´t, you kept waiting for a work permit and you were caught.

Likely you were told or you are going to be told to leave Canada.

Once you are outside of Canada, there are steps that you can take and apply again.

Taking care of an elderly for 24 months, thank you!

But, did you tell CIC that your defunct employer was still alive?

What did you misrepresent about? If you told them, "I still work for the elderly", it would be considered a lie.

It is hard to you to go back because of facing a hard life, why at this point haven´t you applied for protection?

I don´t buy it and unlikely that CIC/IRB/CBSA will. They will ask you the same question and unless that you prove it otherwise, chances are that you will be removed from Canada.

Man up and learn to love your homeland... again!! Your fate is tied to the land you were born in. Don´t feel bad to return. There are millions with much less training surviving there... I am sure you can fit in well........ Good luck
