Subject: Remarriage after divorce
  Hey anybody
I expect kind suggestion from you since I am in a real trouble. I had love-affair with a girl but her parents did not like it and wanted to send her Canada as dependent to another boy. She denied it and informed me beforehand. I could do nothing but suggested her to be there (Canada) for time being as of the parents´ desire since the time I was living upon was quite hard to settle together. The fake marriage certificate was made in 2009 March and both of them got visa under skilled worker in 2009 September and she went with the boy as dependent.

They separated right after a month of their arrival in Canada under my girl-friend´s pressure. She also filed a divorce with the boy as per their mutual understanding and she returned back to India. After arriving here, as the parents were also convinced about our relationship gradually, she married with me as per Indian tradition. Now we have every proofs i.e. photo albums, video of the events (engagement, procession, and marriage rituals. We married in May 10 and her divorce certificate from the court was sent in May 25. Living together about two weeks, she left for Canada hoping that I will come to see her soon. Does it affect in our future processing? Moreover, I have also applied for PR under skilled category since 18 months back but still I have not got the medicals. Should I inform the New Delhi VO about my changed marital status or it will create more problems? Should I withdraw my case and start it under family-sponsorship from my wife? Or will my wife herself be deported if she sponsors me?

I would be grateful if u could provide me right suggestions...I am really in trouble..

Mallik.

You are obligated to inform CIC about your change in status.

However, I would encourage you to complete you immigration on your own merits. Sounds like you have a bit of a nightmare on your hands and it would be better to not draw attention to her previous mess.

Another possible issue... It doesn´t sound like your marriage is valid.

The divorce finalized on May 25th but you married on May 10th? If that´s correct, your marriage isn´t valid. You should have waited until after May 25th to marry.

Dear Sharon,

If I inform CIC about my changed status, Won´t they review her previous documents as to how she got PR? I´m 100% sure that her previous marriage was based on fake document only. How would it affect if I did not inform the CIC about my changed status because I have got 71 scores alone.

You MUST inform CIC about your change in status. Anything other than that is misrepresentation. It will not matter how many points you have - your application will go in the garbage.

Apply on your own merits, inform them about your marriage and cross your fingers. You don´t have a lot of options.

FAKE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE 2009 WOW!

Well for all to see you are now married to a Permanent Resident who still has valid status.

She got PR status or visas in September 2009?

Technically she is still a PR is she not? 730 days in any five year period.

I read in an elementary school the following. "IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO TELL THE TRUTH BECAUSE THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID".

Now your lies are going to grow and grow and one day you will be bitten in your butt.

Roy, no doubt, she is still a PR in Canada as she got it in 2009. she has lived almost 500 days in Canada.Do you mean that I have no any option than to inform CIC about my changed marital status? Or should I inform only after she crosses 730 days?? What happens if I don´t inform anything to CIC??

failure to report change in status could result in your application being thrown in the garbage on the grounds of not telling the truth to CIC.

You have no option but to inform - NOW

Genuine document misused (in reply to: Remarriage after divorce)
Hi there,
What happens if the letter of receipt of application including file number (2nd letter) and date of birth is lost and if somebody misused the file number and posted fake information (including change of status) through online Client Application Status? Should CIC be informed about it. How?
