Do you suppose we're going to get the letter?

Subject: Do you suppose we're going to get the letter?
"We started processing your application on August 31, 2011.

We sent you a letter on August 31, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

We received their email that I was approved to sponsor. It´s been over a month now and although I figured we weren´t going to get a physical letter, they *did* say we would.

Do you suppose we´re actually going to get this letter?

Also: the application is in Buffalo now. Joy. Do you suppose they´re actually going to send AoR so we have the applicant´s file number too?

Thank you for your replies.

LOOK AT THIS (in reply to: Do you suppose we're going to get the letter?)
This is someone´s experience.

"Decision was made on Dec 2nd, 2010.

We sent you a letter. Please expect delay, blah blah."

The actual physical letter informing the decision was mailed three afterward-- around the third last week of the month. It was a pinky landing letter.

The point is that it varies from case to case and from client to client, obviously, and that posting online and receiving letters can be different. Another case of immigration mumbo-jumbo. Hang in there!

Thank you for your reply!

Pretty sure that the above is just from the sponsorship approval though as they sent the email from Aug 31 for that, and then this ´decision made - we sent you a letter´ showed up a day later.

We´ll hang in there, not a worry. Thank you again!

sounds like you have only completed stage 1 approval. Now you are on to the non- Canadian side of the approval process. Several months more to wait and there will be no AOR.

Thank you for letting us know that there will be no AoR. Golly, wish that we had one though simply in case.

Than you again.
