  WOW!!!
I moved to Canada out of greed hahahah! you made me laugh Sharon.
Roy:
If you were so succesful your propaganda would be classier and you would not have to resort to this free website.
As per yu Sharon, criticizing ESL people, with all honesty you are just showing that you belong to a red neck society.
You can´t even speak quebecoise french.
I realize one more time that you both are full of shit.

Sharon: Keep preying on the idiots and the naive. They are perfect targets to keep your business afloat.
Roy: Your story about being morgage free made me: LOL!
You are either full of shit or must be sorrounded by immigrants that like to pretend that they´ve done "great" so they can feel "accepted".
Fortunately a lot of countries still have free access to media and university education to know what Canada is really about.
When I immigrated in here, global media was not available, so I as sttupid and naive to believe in people like Roy and Sharon.
FUck off to both of you.

why else did you come here? You likely wanted more money, more opportunity, more stuff, more free education, more ...

what was so wrong with where you came from that you would throw it all away and take such high risks?

I assist people unlike Hola and Vitorelli who wish to stay in Canada. I worked Saturday and I will be going in again on Sunday. So busy I can´t take a day off or my clients cases will not be completed. So many want to stay in Canada so you two must be in a minority.

I do not advertise overseas at all!
I do not really care to seek out FSW applicants.
I do not sell Canada - it sells itself.

If I interpret a certain type of food not pleasing to me I don´t eat it.

If I find a particular country not interesting I don´t visit it.

If I find a particular community not satisfactory I don´t move there.

You two don´t like this forum but you keep coming back.
You two have little future but you do nothing to improve it.
You two attract negativity because that is all you talk about.
You two don´t like Canada but you don´t leave.

Can you not see that you cause your own lot in life?

most FSW would have applied for PR themselves. you can only make money out of those with poor or little knowledge of english.
did anyone care to explain to me why canadian´s population did not increase significantly since every year 250,000 PRs are given out? Reason being lots of the PRs return to their home country after their saving runs out and most cannot bring themselves to work in tim horton. It´s hard for them to work in tim horton after many years of educations.
canada is only attractive for (1) white collar worker if you manage to find work in your field of study (never mind the position) (2) refugee

LOL, our population is not increasing because many couples have 1 child in stead of two. Simple math.

I don´t blame people for not wanting to work at Tim Hortons. All I can say is DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you decide to come. The new rules are going to help make sure people don´t come with little or no chance of finding work in their field but everyone is complaining that it is too strict. The government wants to increase language requirements but everyone is complaining about that too.

No matter what we do... someone complains.

Immigrants of the 40s-70´s were content to come to Canada and work at whatever it would take to establish themselves so that their children would have a better life. That does not seem to be good enough any more.

My former inlaws came to Canada with 2 kids, one suitcase and no cash in 1948. My father in law had a grade 2 education and was a blacksmith by training. Neither of them spoke english and there were no ESL classes at that time. When they landed they lived with relatives and did labour jobs that did not require language skills (in this day it would likely be janitorial work or Tim´s) They lived frugally, they knew their future was up to them and they were prepared to meet the challenge. Both of them learned english from their kids.

30 years and 3 kids later, Dad had his own business, all 5 children had completed university and were employed as school teachers, accountants and business men. Mom and Dad were retired with a modest home and 4 rental properties which supplied them a generous pension.

In my own family, it was my grandparents that came with nothing. Same sort of outcomes.

So please forgive me if I am not very sympathetic to your complaints. ´Go home´ are the only words that come to mind.

where's the hole in the boat? (in reply to: Vitorelli part 3)
You tell me. According to the last report from the government , they needed 1 million immigrants a year to pay taxes. However, they admited that canadian people did not want more immigration.
This need comes out of kindness?
More tax payers are needed and more new-comers that keep the economy moving. A lot of people leave Canada so they need to bring more.

the report states the facts - either we replace the lack of growth in our own population (declining birth rate) or... we rethink how we spend money as a country. Let the people decide between the alternatives.

I call that laying the cards out on the table. Have more babies, change how we spend money, or allow more immigrants to fill the job vacancies (either with PR or work permits like they do in Saudi Arabia). Pros and Cons to all solutions.

Sharon: your granparents (in reply to: Vitorelli part 3)
Your grandparents came at a different time in history. Things were less difficult back then.
I must agree that the ones that see the benefit from immigration are the children more than anybody else.
I was not starving in my home country but allowed myself to be led by publicity. I did not do enough homework to be quite honest before moving in here.
I am glad that the new rules that Roy talks about are starting to change in order to make people aware of what they will go thru. I find that to be a more honest approach . Thus if you are an Doctor from India, you must likely will end up driving a taxi, unless that you are willing to get in huge debt, go thru tests that are almost impossble to pass because this is a very protected profession in the country.
