Hey wanna be immigrants to this rip-off called Canada. Another way that the government has to steal your money is thru making you pay on Employment Insurance every pay cheque and when you need it, they come up with a bunch of excuses to not give it or to delay your case until you give up. Service Canada is runed by a bunch of inept, lazy , poorly trained staff that take no responsability whatsoever for they information they give ( even if is wrong and that fucks up your claim).

Nope nothing wrong with your attitude, not at all, everyone else is wrong.
You remind me of that short woman on Hell´s Kitchen I saw last night. Always blaming the other Chefs for her failures.
At least in Canada unlike the majority of countries there is some form of payment when you lose your position. Thank you for the early morning chuckle.

and never collected.

I think that should become a choice to pay into EI, but of course, they want the revenue and the right to deny it. Bastards, I will make sure I go at least 20 times to see a Doctor this month to get some of my tax dollars back . I am also considering to go to the food banks.
Any other form of advice? Maybe I should work 6 months legally and another 6 under the table.

Hey Vitorelli, come down to the U.S. where there is no Service anything. You´re on your own in life here, buddy. Very few services to help anyone in need and out of luck, unless you want to try a welfare office where you have to prove total destitution and that you´re living on the street.
If you lose or can´t find a job, no health care and you´re simply on your own to die. Many here know what it´s like without a central human services agency like Canada has. I´d gladly pay taxes for that.
Go down to Louisiana and see the thousands waiting to have a rare opportunity to see a doctor paid for by a charity group once every few years, or else hope your church takes care of you. Is that what you want instead?

What irks me is not the system itself but the bureaucrats running it.
The States though is more fun than Canada , has always seem way too retrograde for me. It is more of a brainwash of "the american dream" which is a pile of delusions. People may make more money, but they end up spending it on the stress or illness caused by earning it.
IT IS ALL A SYSTEM where the rich will be richer and make the poor believe that " he can achieve whatever he/ she wants ".
