Hi,
I´m English and currently living in England with my girlfriend (who is French Canadian) she is on a 2 year working visa here in England. However, we have decided that we want to move back to Canada.
I was going to apply for the International Experience Canada Visa however the day I got my police check back was the day the program closed for the 2011 intake.
Now I´m going to have to go on a 6 month tourist visa in October (my girlfriend starts back at her job in October) before re-applying for this IEC Visa in January (when the 2012 intake opens). However, can I apply for this visa whilst I´m in Canada or do I have to be in England when I apply for it.
Also, we do want to get married in the future and we don´t really understand how the spousal sponsorship works in Canada, how much does it costs? How long it takes? Can I work whilst this is being processed and so on.
It´s so frustrating not being able to speak to a human being as it´s practically impossible so I would really like some advise if possible.

hi i want to know about the spouse sponsorship.
i have been supporting her from last one year now i am sponsoring her. i have to give prove to immigration canada that i was supporting financially.
i was sending money monthly to backhome, half share was for my mom and half for my wife. but i send money in name of my brother.
now i donot have proof that i am sending money to my wife since the paper shows that i am sending money to my brother.
please let me know what should i do in this matter and how i can tackle this situation please....
