Hey! I like judge Judy, it reminds me my mom.
I am not an investigator, my skills are different. I can read people in seconds though.
I am not going to comment if the agency is doing a good or not job in the "investigating" portion of it. It is out of my scope.
I think you would have to be in their shoes to understand what tools and resources are available to them.
I don´t know if saying "50" is the right statement. At the end tomatoe or tomato is the same difference. Whether is 1 or 50 or 52 is irrelevant.
Things are going to change, you guys (consultants) know that changes are coming down the pipe. CIC is changing their criteria thus there are some procedures in the law enforcement that are bound to change.
I don´t think that any officer in their right mind, enjoys arresting Mom or Dad in front of their children knowing that they have to remove them.
It is very hard, but at the same time, their parents choose to put their family in that position to begin with. The officers aren´t the bad guys, they are enforcing a law due to a decision that a person (read illegal alien) made when they decided to by-pass or not to follow the existing law.
My point is and always be... the law is to be followed, there are no such a thing as special rights.
If you truly think the CBSA is this or that, how come you haven´t take them to the federal court or call the media so you can complain about it?
Go ahead, do it! I dare you! Let me know how it goes at the end though.

it is always CBSA vs illegal alien and guess who Roy will side??? clue.... who pay his expenses..... he MAYBE a good consultant always claiming winning cases but he ONLY tell us the cases he won. For all you know, he may be wining 2 out of 10 cases lol.... he may be doing pro bono but business is bad this day (he will always tell us business is good to give us impression that he has a lot of clients. If so.... why we always see his posts on the net......

Why are you not commenting about CBSA doing an acceptable job or not this is what the original post was all about. CBSA and their Media Stunt how they set up the media to try and make themselves look good!!!!!!
CBSA calls in the media (THEMSELVES) about 20,000 illegals and their war on illegals CBSA has launched but......there is no follow up story of any illegals ever being arrested! WHY?
CBSA claims there are 1,400 hardened criminals but not one is named in the media even though they have been in the public view by being convicted and in a court of Law. No Privacy issues here! Come on CBSA name at least one hundred hardened criminals who have warrants for their arrest! I don´t want a HARDENED criminal living next to me especially if there is a warrant for their arrest!
CBSA has not named one War Criminal and shamed the IRB for granting him/her status or CIC for making them eligible to make a Refugee claim.
Nor is there one comment about a PR (war criminal) having an admissibility hearing and was ordered deported for misrepresentation or the IAD being blamed for not scheduling his/her appeal hearing fast enough so that removal can take place. All IAD hearings are open to the public and have no privacy issues.

I´m on the side of justice and common sense! I don´t always claim I win cases I prove that I win cases, huge difference!
I sell the advantages of retaining my company and clearly explain ones options. I provide references and decisions to prove I have won similar cases. Why does the RCMP inform the Toronto Sun readers that if they know of a War criminal they can inform them. Does not CBSA and the RCMP have a joint task force?

Why can only a minuscule number of individuals not see that CBSA´s attempt to raise support from the public by claiming they have a war on 20,000 illegals has blown up in their face.

Don´t take it personal Roy, you are a good guy, I actually like you and I respect your knowledge but I don´t truly always agree with your point of view. You let your emotions to take over the situation. Work on that, it will make you better at your job.

Funny that you mention the word German. I´m a proud Albertan though.
However my father was a German Sargent and my mother was an Austrian Judge. If there is something that I truly learned is that there are only two sides of the story and only ONE is right.

It is real basic to me! - Name the war criminals and name the hardened criminals!!!! Let´s get them out of Canada.
CBSA calling in the media and then not naming the War Criminals or the Hardened Criminals is a (media stunt) that has caused CBSA adverse publicity.
Adverse publicity that CBSA caused themselves. Dumb move!
THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO!
The courts in Canada are open to the public and so are all Immigration Appeal Division hearings.
If someone is alleged to be a war criminal and given protected status take them to a "vacation hearing" to take away their refugee status. THEN PUT THAT INFORMATION IN THE MEDIA AND GET HIM/HER ON A PLANE, ASAP.
If a permanent resident (suspected war criminal) [LIED] misrepresented themselves to gain a benefit under the act take them to the Immigration Division and get them ordered deported. -- Let them appeal to the IAD and invite the media to report on the evidence or story they try to spin. Make sure the IAD reserves the largest hearing room so all the media can see that the system works.
Criminals real simple keep them detained until their governments or they provide travel documents. If a particular government will not provide documents get enough TOGETHER to rent your own plane and fly them back if the major airlines won´t let them board.
If CBSA wants respect they need to understand common sense.
When CBSA claims they are hunting 20,000 illegals with a fair number of hardened criminals get the public to assist in the hunt instead of claiming something with no details. Not one detail released.
Therefore it was a media stunt!
Just maybe Mr. Reg Williams learned something, then maybe not!

The Applicant is a citizen of Portugal. He has been in Canada for 45 years. He is addicted to alcohol and crack cocaine and had 31 criminal convictions between September 1977 and May 2010. He added a further conviction on January 4, 2011 while this judicial review was awaiting a hearing.
The Applicant appealed the removal order to the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), which appeal was denied.
While the IAD recognized that the Applicant had family support and that he would experience hardship upon return to Portugal, it concluded that any positive factors were outweighed by a low possibility of rehabilitation, lack of establishment and absence of family dependence on him.
THIS COURT’S JUDGMENT is that the application for judicial review is dismissed.
No need to hide this guy´s name! Justice was done, he had his day in court!
