I sent my application thru courier last week due to canada post strike, how do I know when they´ve started assessing me as the sponsor and how long does it take.

45 Days approximately follow the application on e-cas by your payment bar code #

Assuming this is an outland application...
Roy is right (of course). Anonymous is wrong.
You will not receive an AOR letter. The first communication you´ll receive will be at approximately the 45 day mark notifying you that you have been approved as the sponosor.
The courier company you used should be able to confirm that your package arrived.
