My husband has submitted the "investor" category since Oct 2009 (under the old system) and have a file number in early Nov 09 too. Until now, we still do not have any news from the conerned department, do you know if they are not going to process those under the old system as recently in their website, we did not see the processing time for HK applicants either? At the beginning of the year, I saw that the HK processing time is 39 months, very disappointed to see no news right now!!! In addition, when we applied, my son was only 20´s but til now he is 22´s and will be graduate from the University in July this year. Will his status still be recognised as our dependent???

Your son may be recognized as dependent according to the application date or you may have to prove that he is a full time student financially depending on you.
