Subject: permanent citizenship cuz of financial problems
I will be coming to canada for university if I am able to get a permanent citizenship in the beginning or after a year when i get there.
reason being the high fees for internationals compared to the citizens.
I dont have many people whom i know living there.
just my father´s cousin who has been there since 20 odd years and one of my uncle who recently became a PR.
is there any way I can get a PR status at least a year after i get there?
I guess its not possible but can these people living there whom i know be of nominal help?
or any 1-1.5 year course in university that might get me a PR status ?
or any way to get it illegally at least?
thanks for your time.

There is no such a thing as Permanent citizenship. You are either a permenent residence or a citizen.

Now, the short answer is no. You have to meet the requirements to qualify as a Permanent residence. Even if you do, the application process might take anywhere between 2 to 5 years.

Are you asking "any way to get it illegally at least?" Did I read that right?

Are you out of your mind? What do you think this country is? If you are willing to look for illegal ways to obtain a status, keep it in your own country, it may be ok in your homeland but if you are coming to this country, better start learning about following the law or stay out.

Here do some reading:
