Subject: PRRA Decision Rendered
  Hi,

My family and I have been in Canada for about 3 years now. Our refugee claim was denied and appeal was dismissed. We have completed the prra and are being called in for that decision exactly 2 months after everything was submitted.

I would like to know. What are my chances. And what could I do to appeal if anything negative?

DID YOU KNOW (in reply to: PRRA Decision Rendered)
"A decision has been rendered in respect to ...."

It takes about a month to transfer that decision from the prra office to the office where you will receive it.

PRRA (in reply to: PRRA Decision Rendered)
Hi

What exactly does that mean. Will I get an approval or rejection the same day?

Could you recommend an appeal lawyer for this if one is needed?

The decision has already been made.

You are already in the hands of this decision that was made a month ago.

When you apply for something, there is 2 possible outcomes - yes or no. It does not seem like you thought no was an option... well... as frustrating and disappointing as this might seem, you failed to make your case to remain in Canada. Now it is time to determine where you will be moving.

You´re done. What have to do is pack your things and leave the country or eventualy CBSA will remove you from Canada.

If you want to return, apply for a PR status from outside of Canada along with an ARC.

Appealing what? You didn´t provide enough evidence for your refugee claim and you were rejected.

Then in your PRRA you didn´t provide any prove that you were going to go through hell if you were sent back to your country of origin.
The evidence in those two situations are slightly different and unfortunately you didn´t have anything to prove.

What are you going to appeal? You have no case here.

Find a job and an employer that is willing to hire you and go through a provinvial nominee program or any other suitable federal program for Immigration and come back as a PR.
That is your best and only option.
Don´t forget to include an ARC in it.

Roy,

Win a stay based on what? The PRRA is a ney not yey.

The deportation order is still in force. An H&C application isn´t going to stop it, you know that. His best bet is to leave the country with an offer of employment, apply from his home country with an ARC and come back.

That is the easiest way.

khl,

I am not defending Roy but I haven´t seen anyone being invoiced here for all the questions he answers for free that being his job.

So if someone in the forum wants to hire him, what is wrong with that?
