OMG. You are telling me that you apply from 2002 and have not gotten a decision as yet. wow. I apply in 2009 so I guess I maybe have a long wait too. Thank you for replying to my question

The process time differs from case to case. Others´ time-line would not necessarily reflect your own.

@Sue : 232 is right. It differs from case to case. I´ve read some applicants here getting their decision just under 3 years. That said, I´ve also heard people with no status(like overstay) takes longer.(Don´t quote me on that.) Anyway, just relax, you could be the lucky one. ;)
