I´m just wondering how to help a 16 year old who came to canada when primary caregiver died (cancer) to stay with extended family who have no intentions of sponsoring her to stay. If deported to the US there is no one there to receive her.
p.s. this young woman does not have the money for an immigration lawyer.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

She needs to get married and file inland and fight the way thru! Or if you are too old for her, just adopt her and sponsor her for PR. Seems quite simple.

She may have a chance at the humanitarian and compassionate application (H&C), but I wonder where her biological father is right now.

H&C? How so? What harship or torture is she going to face if sent back to the US?

The risk in returning to the US is that she is a minor and there is no one to receive her
