Roy, I am not racist just stating a well known fact! No Chinese from Hong Kong or any other parts of the world are not necessarily better people but how many non mainland Chinese clients have you come across claiming refugee / H&C?
Mainland Chinese are not preferrable associations even amongst the Chinese community given their propensity to lie and cheat....conduct a survey and you´ll be satisfied that I am not speaking out of turn.
The numerous stories of immigration fraud is so disheartening that I wonder why we Canadian taxpayers even bother in trying to make an honest living, hell we should all just go on welfare and then lets see who´ll support these people!
Mainland Chinese women come to Canada on visitor visas and set up brothels in highend condos raking in thousands of dollars a night but also collects welfare while pending their refugee/H&C decisions, hmmmmm not a bad life at all, so its true, they have landed in the country paved with gold! If their immigration apps go through then they hand around until they get their citizenships and if they haven´t snatched themselves a husband in the mean time then they go back to China loaded down with Canadian $$$$ until all is spent then come back this way to siphon more welfare $$$$, what a great set up.
If any tears are shed for these people it´d definitely be crocodile tears!

Many years ago Ukrainians were locked up because they looked different. Some Russians ran around naked and were condemned. Chinese had to pay a head tax, Japanese had everything confiscated.

Ok Roy, why am I not surprised that when you can´t contridict a valid statement you resort to name calling and personal attacks?
Where is your professionalism? There are many ways to sustain an argument other than childish tactics such as calling others nasty names:) You may defend yourself as being passionate but we all know the fact is that this is where your bread and butter is coming from, these MAINLAND CHINESE PRETEND TO BE REFUGEES!
Kelly Wang came to Canada with the intent to remain by claiming refugee in 2004 and that took three years, when that failed in 2007, the removal and subsequent H&C dragged on for another 3+ years during which time she had an anchor child, well if one can´t see through the intentions then a brain scan needs to be done. How much money has she cost the Canadian taxpayers during this time?
In MY Canada everyone is treated equally too but that applies to CANADIANS and those that have migrated here legally through the proper channels and not through loop holes!
Ignorance is on your part which amazes me as you are in the industry where you come across these people frequently and the fact that you refuse to acknowledge that Mainland Chinse are well known for immigration fraud well I think you need a brain scan of very own....On second thought I think that is not the issue, I guess you need to make a living too LOL

P.S. Now Roy, you know better than to suggest that Kelly Wang marry someone because you know that CIC would question if the marriage was one of convenience anyways...As for same sex relationship, back in 2004 it was relatively a new concept and not one preferrable by the Mainland Chinese because its sooooo against the cultural beliefs!
BTW, I am not questioning the Chinese law on unwed mothers and the associated punishment, just stating that Kelly knew the law of her homeland but still went ahead and had the child, boy she must have been pretty confident about the worth of the anchor child for immigration points!
