Hi.
I came to canada under te live in caregiver program as a nanny and I already sent the application for the PR, currently I´m waiting for my work permit which I´m supposed to get in July or August, the thing is the my work visa expired and now I got an implied status and I want to leave the country and come back so I don´t know what I should do??
1)can I apply for a visitor visa while I wait for my open work permit? or do I have to wait for my OWP?
2)Also they told me after i get my OWP i have to wait 16 months to get the PR if I get aproveed so that means I can´t leave the country till i get my PR????
and also
3)can I work legally under this implied status when i get my owp when my work visa already expired or can i work with a visitor visa?
What should I do... Im so confused!!!!!!!!

I entered Canada on Feb. 28th 2012 on a visitor´s visa. I applied for student visa on the 14th of May and got the visa on the 22nd of August. I am asked to exit Canada and then re-enter before my student visa can be active. My question is how urgent should I exit to re-enter. I am afraid the visitor´s visa I came with will expire by the 27th of August. Since I have been given a student visa dated August 01 2012, can I delay my exit/re-entry for some days. The validity of the student visa is Jan 10, 2013. Thanks so much for your assistance
