hello everyone.
I was looking on the CIC website to check the status of my wifes application. They began proccessing it on Febuary 04 of 2011,and yesterday when I checked it, it says "Complete." Then when I click on that it says that a decision has been made and they will contact my wife soon.
what exactly does this mean? It´s only been about 21 days since they began proccessing the application. Does this mean she has been approved for permanent resident? I´m pretty confused and a little freaked out right now..Pls. help

You applied outland, right?
If so, this means you have been approved to sponsor your wife by the Mississauga office. The file will now be transferred to the local office where they will evaluate your wife´s information.

No. I was approved for sponsorship in November 2010, the file was transfered in December 2010, and they began proccessing her visa application at the embassy in her country on Febuary 4th, 2011. It is now saying "Complete" for her Permanent Resident Visa Status. When I click on that it says that "A decision has been made about her permanent resident application, and the office will contact her soon"

OK - then this does in fact mean that a decision has been made about your wife´s PR. Unfortunately all you can do is wait for the letter to arrive to find out if the decision is positive or negative. However if there was no interview, the decision should be positive.

This means your wife´s visa is approved; now you need to find money to send her a ticket. And the rest!

She is waiting for their communication..so far nothing. Hopefully within 3 business days she will recieve something. Thanks for your awnsers.
