Staff at 6900 Airport Rd, entrance 2B or Mississauga "GTEC" Greater Toronto Enforcement Centre will now be working around the clock to increase removals. Three shifts seven days a week.
Foreign Embassies and Consulates have not increased their hours of operation so will this switch to shift work increase removals?

Foreign Embassies and Cosulates have nothing to do with detaining people. A person can be detain and held in custody until the embassy issues the proper documentation.
You know that! You worked in a detention centre.

Sometimes these authority types thinks you can remove people without valid travel documents.
I will never forget a certain individual escorting two deportees to Jamaica and the Jamaican Immigration official asking them what there home town was and they said Kingstown not Kingston.
CBSA took them to the wrong country in their haste to remove.

Way to hear the CBSA is doing what they are supposed to do with these people who have no right to be here, and will not follow the legal rules by actually going home.

Roy/cvimmigration.com, I thnk your comment is BS. Removing someone is a complicated process involving multiple steps, background checks and the co-operation of the receiving country. The mistake you describe could never happen.

When people are from a particular country that is very slow in providing travel documents like Jamaica used to be CBSA would remove them themselves.
Many times people sit in detention for a long periods of time due to no documentation from where they are from.
When one looks like a Jamacian, talks like a Jamaican and claims they come from the capital of Jamaica it happens.
Now a days they have all these recent University graduates who get an employment contract for three months and think by acting like a bully against families they will be kept on full time.
Most cases removal ready cases already have travel documents on file so it is now a matter of bring in your own ticket or we will buy one for you.
Not a complicated process at all. Have you never booked a flight for yourself?

Do not fret PT.
Roy is very anti enforcement agency, especially CBSA.
Roy seems to think that all persons who wish to live in Canada should have a right to do so.
The security, safety and economic prosperity or Canadian citizens (who actually have a right to be here) does not seem to be a concern that Roy has at this time.
That is unless the potential immigrant questions him on these forums or seems too wealthy for free information :)

ha i am with removing criminal drug addict people who flood this land.... however it pest me off when ITS known world wide illegale alliens who arrived on this native lands 200 hundreds years ago lectures others about who should be here or not.... come on at least these people most of them are not criminals, thieves, or killers ... remember 200 years ago the brits and french criminal thieves or killers dumbed on the shores of this native land and other native lands such as nz, aussie, south afica and others ... they are criminals and got full status inspite of being kicked out from their own countries because of criminal history.... read history and remember if u try to ignore this historical fact other people around the world know its a native land. and know who are the real criminals who occupied this land and other native lands.
