| Subject: In canada sponsor processing time |
I sent my sponsor applicaton to Alberta two months ago for my wife who is already in canada. Anyone have any idea how long they take t process the application? How there any way to check the application status?

3 or 4 times more than outside of Canada processing time.
read some old posts and advices from experts of this forum.

The first stage (AIP) of inland processing currently takes 8-9 months. The second stage can take anywhere from a few weeks to 9+ months. So you still have a fairly long wait ahead of you.
