  Hi Anonymous (who was asking for the mother from England),

I want you to know that atleast if she stays in Canada for 1 year then you can request CPC-Mississauga office to forward her application to BUFFALO USA visa office as there is a law that if someone is in any country other than his/her nationality, for atleast 1 year then that person can request that visa office (where they currently reside) to for further process. Now your mom would be staying in Canada, they (CIC IMMIGRATION OFFICERs) have designated BUFFALO visa office for this type of situations.

Buffalo office has 19 months of processing time for FAMILY SPONSORSHIP - PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS class.
