179. An officer shall issue a temporary resident visa to a foreign national if, following an examination, it is established that the foreign national
(a) has applied in accordance with these Regulations for a temporary resident visa as a member of the visitor, worker or student class;
(b) will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay under Division 2;
(c) holds a passport or other document that they may use to enter the country that issued it or another country;
(d) meets the requirements applicable to that class;
(e) is not inadmissible; and
(f) meets the requirements of section 30.

i have applied for visit to canada in 2006.I attached all my documents including sponser letter from my sister in law.She has a business in canada in ontario.Visa officer rejected the visa.Kindly guide me what documents i have to attach now for visit to canada.If i apply again.thanking you in advance

Mr./Ms.
my boyfriend wants me to visit him in Canada for a couple of weeks.i was submitted all the requirements they ask online but then the courier send it back to me today the it was refused by regulation 179.what should i need to do now??i want to be there before my birthday this coming April 1.but they did not pen point whats the lacking requirements so we can do it and knows what we are need too to meet the requirements.please give me an advice and answer for my concern.

you need to convince them you are going back home after your birthday. Going to visit a boyfriend - chances are very good you will want to stay, right? So who is fooling who here.
Show you have a job, a bank account, responsibilities, family and great motivation to return home. Otherwise, I suggest you get yourself a webcam and party online.

thank you for the very nice suggestion.if were going to try it again for now,do i need a new invitation letter from him?his the one going to sponsor me for all the expenses while i am staying there.so do i need to show my own banking account here too??and what other requirements we need to provide to apply so we can have a big chance to get the visa.
