Applied refugee in 2000 & was refused in the same year.
Applied H & C in 2003 & still waiting for answer.
We call & report CBSA every month since 2008.
FOSS notes says file bring forward date in May 2012.
Today received letter from CBSA to report 6900 Airport road for an interview. letter also includes page for PRRA. They said if we wish to apply for PRRA sign and bring that page on interview.Interview is on Friday Nov 26, 2010. We call regularly every month to CBSA.
We (family of 6) are very much worried about this letter. H & C was applied in 2003 because of some reasons: my three Canadian born children has medical issues and are receiving treatments from Children hospital in London, Ontario.
Please advice us what they (CBSA) will do, are they going to deport us? Our H & C application is still under process.

They are now joining PRRA´s and H&C´s because the PRRA is going the way of a dinosaur.
Focus on your cruel and unusual treatment sections of the PRRA and forget torture.
You will be given 15 days to complete the forms (simple) then an additional 15 days to submit evidence.

Having an Humanitarian and Compassionate application in progress does not prevent removal.
Hopefully you understand compassion has to be common sense and without Doctor´s documentation CBSA & CIC could care less.
Read this twenty times there are plenty of issues you can probably use.

Right but the evidence has to be different and far more substancial than your original evidence when you first applied as a refugee otherwise in the very near future CBSA will ask you to purchase a ticket and give you the yellow form. (Exclusion order).

PRRA and a decision (in reply to: H&C and PRRA (need advice))
"Our records indicate that you are the subject of a removal order that is in force. You are required to present yourself at this office for an interview as indicated below:"
This is a PRRA letter.
After a PRRA is filed along with a H & C at a local immigration office by a PRRA officer. A decision will be made.
Then you may receive a letter
"This is to advise you that a decision has been rendered with respect to your application to the Minister for protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. To receive this decision you are required to attend in person as indicated below:"
You cannot be removed until a decision is made on your PRRA.
If negative, you will need a lot of legal help. All the best. It´s very important that you not miss your report date.

Not really, if negative what he needs is a plane ticket. Don´t encourage people to keep seeking for help, once the PRRA is negative, it is pretty much the end of the road in Canada.
The next step would be to leave Canada, wait for the decision on his H&C and if it flies, come back and if it doesn´t, then apply for an ARC and PR.
